Breezewood Village 5K 2010 Information
On Saturday, July 17, 2010 Breezewood Village Senior Housing is conducting a 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser to raise money for the La Mirada Community Services Foundation with half of the proceeds going to the La Mirada High School Cross Country Team. The event will take place at Creek Park in La Mirada.
We need your help as a participant, sponsor, or volunteer!
The Cause
La Mirada Community Services Foundation helps improve the quality of life in the La Mirada area. It does so by supporting services and programs meeting the social, physical, and recreational needs of local residents.
Entry Fees: On or before Thursday, July 15th entry fees:
$25 General Registration
$20 Seniors (55 and Over)
$20 High School (9-12 grade levels)
$15 Kids (8th grade and under)
After Thursday, July 15 add $5.00 (subject to availibility)
How YOU can help...
1. Be a participant!- Register on the Breezewood Village Home page or call 562-943-9555 for more information.
-Receive a race t-shirt, goodie bag, have the chance to win prizes, and help the local community!
2. Be a Sponsor!- Advertise your business and give back to the community by being a sponsor. We need sponsors to fund the overall race, goodie bags items, and prizes (see sponsor level page).
3. Be a Volunteer- We need volunteers to assist with the registration, monitoring participants, and handing out water/refreshments and other duties.
To be involved with the 5K in any way, please call 562-943-9555 and speak with Sue or Amy. All donations and funds must be received by July 19, 2010. Donations after that date may be sent directly to the La Mirada Community Services Foundation.
