| Breezewood's Third Anniversary |
On Wednesday, July 6th, our community celebrated its Third Anniversary with a lively party. Patriotic Breezewood-ites from many different backgrounds all joined together to enjoy the excellent food, the first-rate music, and the chance to dance with some good friends.

Now, we all know that true happiness comes from within, from within the stomach that is, and, culinary speaking, our Sue made sure that everyone was having a great time! She busily barbequed homemade shish-kabobs and kept a variety of tasty hors d'oeuvres coming our way.

Our very own George Silva was the DJ for the evening and he did an outstanding job of setting the mood. DJ Geo kept Breezewood Village moving well into the early evening.

Out on the dance floor was the place to find Bonni. She and her boogie-woogie cronies worked up smiles as well as appetites!
The night also included awards for the “Most Patriotic” attire which went to Mikki Fowler with her fiber-optic American hat, Dee Welander with flag stickers on her face, and Eula Tedford who was red, white, and blue from head to toe.

Since some of Breezewood Village’s newer residents were in attendance, we had the chance to welcome Barbara Bucci and Shirley Herrera as well as integrate them into the Village’s social side.

Frank Peacott, John Sebok, and John Saulter, were some of the gentlemen who lent their “Fred Astaire” talent to our many “Ginger Rogers” on the dance floor.
Some of our handsome pairs included Terry and Helen Chung, Sylvan and Celina Goldschwartz, and Ralph and Terri Bazan.

At the evening’s end, lots of good friends and neighbors had come out to join in festivities: Lila Reilly, Louise and Rosemarie Roman, Helen Wamsley, Dori Somers, Shirley Arcet, Joe Hampton, Sara Juarez, Christa Cowan, Sun Yeo Woo, Jae Bong Kim, Socorro Barrameda were just some of the few who helped make this year’s anniversary party a true red, white, and blue success!
